spurwink|ri provides high quality services for persons with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health issues, and we are looking for a licensed clinician that has experience leading a clinical team to join our community! This individual will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating clinical services to the various adult programs within our agency, as well as being involved in staff development efforts, the provision of psychological services, outpatient counseling, and the facilitation of clinical meetings and case reviews.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and leadership for the Adult Program clinical team
- Serve as a member of the agency's senior administrative team
- Facilitate regular meetings of the clinical team, clinical case reviews, serving as a resource for and providing clinical supervision to other clinical team members
- Provide clinical services, including psychological support and counseling
- Complete and update Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavioral Treatment Plans, and annual Risk Assessments
- Complete annual psychological services progress reports
- Complete assessments requiring a licensed professional, including applications for RIDE supports and Social Security documentation
- Participate in both the creation and delivery of staff development and training programs (on-site support)
- Maintain the tracking system of behavioral data
- Review all behavior incident reports, providing feedback as needed, and maintain associated files relevant to participant support and treatment needs and goals
- Develop and update Adult Program Behavioral Intervention Policies and Procedures
- Participate in the agency referral process
- Communicate serious reportable incidents (GER)
- Complete quarterly and annual reports of Adult Program utilization of behavioral crisis interventions
- Organize the Human Rights Committee (HRC) meetings, as well as coordinate and document HRC reviews
- Contribute to other agency advisory boards, such as the Health, Life, Safety & Risk Management and the Performance Quality Improvement committees
- Participate in ongoing agency licensing efforts and Annual Planning strategies
Education and Experience: Minimum of a Master's Degree, an active license in a relevant field (LMHC, LCMHC, BCBA, LICSW, or PhD/PsyD), and at least five (5) years' experience leading a team in a clinical setting. Experience with Trauma-Informed Care, Dual Diagnoses, and Positive Behavioral Supports is required.
Certificates, Licenses & Registration: Valid driver's license, registration, and insurance; completion of criminal records checks and fingerprinting, OIG, and E-Verify; licensed mental health professional (LMHC, LCMHC, BCBA, LICSW, or PhD/PsyD); receive certification in CPR and training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), First Aid, and Universal Precautions upon hire.
