Kodi Collective is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Manager of Credit and Collections. The candidate will primarily interface with high-risk customers, the commercial team, and finance to minimize bad debt exposure and identify process improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to address complex challenges head-on and develop innovative, effective solutions. They will exhibit a strong self-starter mentality, with the ability to take initiative, be persistent, and drive projects to completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the overall Credit and Collections function for the Kodi brand, including staff management of offshore resources and customer master data maintenance.
2. Monitor each major AR portfolio for non-payment, delayed payments, and other irregularities that directly impact cash flow and DSO. Resolve disputed and aged balances in a timely manner.
3. Set up customers on payment plans, send final demand letters, and manage accounts sent to collection agencies. Support the legal team on bankruptcy claims and filings.
4. Interact with other internal departments regularly to provide the highest level of customer service.
5. Design and implement processes to bring slow-paying customers into compliance with their payment terms.
6. Run month-end aging reports for finance and advise on allowance for doubtful account reserves needed.
7. Evaluate credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customer accounts according to established guidelines.
8. Additional duties as required by the leadership team.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
2. 10+ years of proven experience in credit management, with a solid understanding of financial systems used by Kodi (SAP and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains).
3. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and accessible manner to a variety of audiences.
4. Ability to lead a team and partner with offshore providers.
