General Purpose
The Sales Representative achieves territory sales operational objectives by contributing territory sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining territory sales system improvements; implementing change.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Achieves territory sales operational objectives by contributing territory sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining territory sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for territory in support of national objectives.
- Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
- Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
- Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services, marketing and finance.
- Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
