Assistant Machine Operator
Badger State Staffing is seeking an Entry-Level Assistant Machine Operator to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you’ll gain valuable experience assisting with the operation of machinery in a fast-paced production environment, while working alongside experienced operators to learn the ins and outs of the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery under the guidance of experienced operators
- Monitor product flow and quality, identifying and reporting any potential issues to ensure consistent output
- Package finished goods into boxes
- Performing basic cleaning and sanitation tasks following established procedures
- Weighing, measuring, and transporting materials as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (days and nights)
- Reliable and consistent work ethic
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.58 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
