Econo Lodge
We’re growing our Housekeeping Team and are looking for candidates to help fulfill our vision of delivering unforgettably positive human interactions for all people.
As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in – or get that last bit of work done.
· You’ll make sure our rooms are always at their best - we have standards - but it’s down to you to make that room special and memorable for guests
· Help guests - you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions for example
· Keep your supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed
· Safety aware – follow our established safety procedures at all times - and wear protective equipment when needed
· Be organized - keep on top of supplies and amenities and always try to minimize waste
· Reunite items with owners – and log any lost and found property
· Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
· Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
· Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
· Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
· May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
· May have turndown duties
· May assist with other duties as assigned
- Collaborate with ALL hotel teams to deliver amazing guest experiences by giving people exactly what they want even before they ask for it. Contribute to maintaining a friendly and warm atmosphere for all people coming through our doors.
By the way, you’ll also have technical responsibilities such as:
- Ensuring all guest rooms and common areas of the hotel are prepared, presented, and staged to the highest standard of cleanliness, tidiness, and neatness.
- Ensuring laundry production is sufficient and timely
- Ensuring that all supplies, procedures, and amenities are compliant with brand standards.
- Picking up trash and debris, taking service items to guest rooms (TV remotes, towels), offering a helping hand to breakfast and maintenance teams.
The Measure of Success: How well you can “WOW” our guests in the areas of guestroom cleanliness, bathroom cleanliness, common area cleanliness, laundry productivity and helpfulness, and by coming up with everyday solutions that go beyond the expectations of what they need.
To “WOW” people, you must knock their socks off by being the friendliest, most helpful, and most hospitable human being they have ever encountered in a hotel!
Pay based on experience and how long training is involved. Pay may be reevaluated after 30 days once we know your work ethics.
Thank you!
