Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel engines and industrial equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, tractors, trailers, payloaders, skid-steers, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot problems
-Ability to fabricate and weld components a plus
- Conduct regular oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Experience with Heavy Machinery - Welding experience a plus
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
