Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin Downtown is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our team. As a part of the Marriott family, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in the heart of Austin.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals for the hotel, focusing on SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal) markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key accounts to drive sales growth.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and group bookings.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on SMERF markets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a track record of building productive business relationships.
- Strong leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and the ability to inspire and mentor a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools.
