Job Summary:
The IT Systems Analyst role works to align technology solutions with organizational and departmental strategic goals. While collaborating closely with business stakeholders and other IT team members, this role will be responsible for analyzing, proposing alternative solutions, designing, implementing, and supporting IT systems that enhance operational efficiency and meet business requirements.
Core Duties/Responsibilities:
Researching, Proposing, Solutioning:

Examine and evaluate current systems, determine adequacy, research alternative solutions (as applicable), and make recommendations/selections of alternative solutions (as applicable), including but not limited to payor portals, company CRM, SharePoint, VoIP, electronic fax, e-signature, and Microsoft 365.

Ongoing testing and troubleshooting of existing systems:

Ensure efficient operations.

Identify areas of inefficiency and design/implement improvements.

Prepare costs and benefits analysis on systems and make recommendations on enhancing existing systems where applicable.

Capture and translate business requirements into highly specified technical designs for implementation into existing infrastructure.

Solution for, implement, and monitor security measures that comply with company security policies and HIPAA regulations.

Lead the design and deployment of technical requirements for new patient program launches.

Participate in project planning and monitor project progress to ensure timely delivery of IT solutions. Serve as the project manager on specific IT projects as deemed appropriate. Assist in building out and documenting standard procedures for system rollout efforts

Audit systems as directed by management in accordance with HIPAA regulations and the company security plan
Design, Implementation, Integration

Implement and integrate new systems with existing infrastructure.

Design and develop documentation, training, and reporting on new and existing systems.

Configure new systems to resolve any issues identified during testing & troubleshooting.
Operational Process Improvement and Optimization
-
Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders when diagnosing and troubleshooting systems issues, collecting user feedback on rolled-out systems/new technical processes, leading the technical efforts of a project, proposing new solutions, and collaborating with 3rd party vendors supporting IT solutions.

Monitor the lifecycle of service requests, which includes responding in a timely manner, routing requests to appropriate parties as needed, and ensuring closure of the requests.

Participate in the management and checkout of equipment to employees for PRO, which includes storing equipment and collaboration with 3rd party IT vendor partners to ensure completion of their required actions.

Support the technical aspects of operational procedures such as onboarding, offboarding, and department transfers. Evaluate processes and propose improvements when appropriate to improve efficiency and adapt to fluctuations in the organization’s size.
Skills / Requirements:

Familiarity with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, problem-solving, and process management skills.

Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Fabric solutions such as Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in system design, data modeling, and documentation tools

Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and system integration.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.

Ability to compile user and system reports.

Perform research on industry trends and effectively convey findings to stakeholders.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
-
Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with 4+ years of experience in IT as a systems administrator or a similar role; Or an unrelated field with relevant industry certifications along with 5-6 years of on-the-job experience.

Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including but not limited to Active Directory, SharePoint, and Exchange.

Demonstrated understanding of industry-accepted security best practices.

Working knowledge of SQL, data warehouse & transformation tools, and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

In-depth familiarity with the HIPAA Security Rule standards and safeguards.

As a remote-forward organization, this position operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employee’s home address listed in their employment file.

Must be able to store spare company assets such as laptops, 24-27” external screens, headsets, and printers as needed.
