Job Summary:
The Moser Energy Systems’ Fleet Manager will oversee and maintain the organization’s fleet of trucks, trailers, and specialized vehicles, including tracking leased fleet assets. This position is also responsible for managing DOT compliance and emission permits for leased assets.
Education/ Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- Five years of experience in fleet maintenance or repair is preferred.

Supervisor:
Vice President of Field Services, unless otherwise designated.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Develops schedules and procedures for and ensures adherence to routine maintenance, non-routine repair, and safety recalls of all vehicles in the company’s vehicle fleet.
- Collaborates with supervisors and staff to manage and reduce expenses such as those for fuel and labor costs.
- Oversees, maintains, and monitors the Motive driving app, dashboards, fuel cards, and driver compliance.
- Establishes a schedule for recommended replacement of fleet vehicles.
- Drafts and presents reports on fleet vehicle operations and expenses.
- Oversees DOT fleet and personnel compliance including maintaining procedures, policies, driver records, and safety protocols related to all DOT vehicle operations.
- Conduct new hire trainings on DOT compliance, Motive app usage, and vehicle operations and safety.
- Manages all TERO and state permits needed for DOT.
- Oversees licensing and permitting for fleet vehicles to enter tribal lands.
- Manages leased fleet company assets including tracking, registrations, licensing.
- Maintains all emission permits for compliance with current DEQ regulations.
- Establishes one-on-one relationships with drivers to sustain and uphold a safe, team-oriented work culture.
- Communicates with customers electronically and via telephone to schedule fleet vehicle and/or trailer maintenance, pick-up, delivery, and to provide updates.
- Enters, edits, and update appropriate information and records in all required systems.
- Collaborates with safety, human resources, billing, insurance brokers, claims adjusters, and other internal departments as necessary.
- Know and comply with all safety policies, standards, and procedures that apply to your job.
- Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
- Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
- Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
- Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time.
