Job Description
One of the fastest growing financial firms in the nation is seeking an experienced Client Service Associate to provide overall administrative support for two of its agency’s Financial Advisors. The ideal candidate is a trusted partner and is expected to coordinate all aspects of the Advisors’ activities and responsibilities; they foster outstanding relationships between clients, advisors, and functional areas within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist team with client support and time management.
- Build client relationships, schedule and confirm meetings, manage advisor’s calendar as needed.
- Provide pre-appointment paperwork to prospects/clients.
- Maintain files and records in client database and CRM software.
- Prepare and process electronic and paper account applications.
- Keep all team members informed on pending business, production and progress.
- Coordinate events, seminars, webinars and prepare presentation materials.
- Aid in Marketing efforts and comply with social media guidelines.
- Assist in problem resolution and act as the liaison with business partners as well as the broker/dealer.
- Provide excellent customer service and aid in maintaining strong client-advisor relationship.
- Process incoming correspondence, mail, and email following established protocols.
- Manage client service requests with professionalism through phone, email, or Zoom communication.
The above includes the most significant duties performed. However, other work assignments not mentioned are assumed to be included. Advisors may assign and/or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.
Requirements
- 2 years customer service (required).
- 2 years administrative experience (required).
- Proficient computer skills, web-based applications, Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems.
- Proactive, self-starter, organized, detail-oriented, punctual.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to established systems and processes.
- Ability to multi-task and keep good time management in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent team player and ability to work well with others.
- Required to clear a background check and fingerprint requirements.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Position will start as hourly with potential to move to salaried.
- Inexperienced candidates: Starting at $20.50/hour.
- Experienced candidates with preferred qualifications: Starting $25.50/hour.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in the financial service/insurance industry.
- Knowledge of various account types [Pension, 401(k), IRA, Roth IRA, Trust, Individual].
- Knowledge of various life and disability insurance types (Whole Life, Term, Individual Disability).
- College or business school degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $25.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
