Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individual therapy sessions to patients with various mental health needs, including those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will host a series of skills that are exclusive to their personal and professional experience. Candidates will be requested to come in office 2-3 times a week. Candidates will need to have an up-to-date Licensure in the state of Maryland or be able to acquire one within 30 days of offer.
Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 codes to identify patients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating techniques such as applied behavior analysis and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
- Provide therapy sessions, addressing the specific needs of patients with behavioral health issues.
- Conduct clinical research to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to the advancement of the field.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in behavioral health research.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the State of Maryland.
- Experience working with patients with developmental disabilities and behavioral health issues.
- Proficiency with ICD-10 diagnostic codes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient care and advocacy.
- Experience with applied behavior analysis and group therapy preferred.
