Essential Functions and Responsibilites:
Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment, plan for and takes proper corrective action.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, repair and perform routine and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machinery used in our production areas.
Access and use schematics, diagrams, technical orders and blueprints for problem solving.
Devise planned response to critical maintenance problems.
Test equipment to check operation and perform routine inspections.
Participate readily in "root cause" problem identification, solving, project implementation and continuous improvement.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude including hydraulics and pneumatics.
Demonstrated understanding of schematics and blueprints.
Equipment maintenance and repair work experience.
Ability to develop preventative maintenance programs.
Ability to manage a large number of projects.
Highly organized and goal driven.
Computer literate.
Communicate effectively in speaking, writing, and listening.
