QUALIFICATIONS:
- Training in accounting or equivalent experience; e.g. AP, AR, G/L, Trial Balance; Associate Degree, Accounting Major preferred.
- Organized, detail-oriented and accurate; e.g. typing and filing skills, 10 key by touch; PC literate; working knowledge of accounting software, Excel, Word, Access, Windows.
- Must be bondable.
- Able to relate to persons with Substance Use Disorders and their families.
- Minimum 2 years personal recovery program if applicable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintenance of accounts payable software system records of vendors, invoices, and payments
- Responsible for accounts payable invoices coded per budget restrictions and distribution to appropriate cost center accounts
- Responsible for accounts payable processing of all vendor invoices for payment
- Prepare and distribute 1099’s and submit filing Fed 1099
- Make bank deposits
- Responsible for maintaining cash journals
- Maintain payment spreadsheets for Lake Board and Geauga Board
- Balance AP to GL at the end of each month
- Relates and works well with peers and other staff in professional/team approach.
- Shares information both verbal and written in a timely and respectful manner.
- Consistently demonstrates compliance with policies and procedures in all areas of work including documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintains agency standards of ethics, thorough knowledge and implementation of client confidentiality, client rights and grievance policies and procedures.
- Models appropriate and positive behaviors for clients and staff.
- Maintains board, staff, and client confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned by CFO
