We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely maintenance repair and take an active role in automation. Responding to production line needs, and optimizing uptime an OEE, the ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong electrical background.
You'll also diagnose mechanical problems, work directly with production staff and management to resolve production issues, and ensure maximum production efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
- Work on Form Fill and Seal equipment. Vertical Hayssen, Horizontal Bartelt. Perform set up, routine maintenance and repairs.
- Work with hazardous materials following OSHA guidelines for proper personal protective equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and general appearance of facilities and surrounding work area.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs.
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Practice cleanliness of work area and tool organization on a daily basis.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed.
- For an experienced candidate, supervise and coordinate the work of other maintenance staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Carefully read manuals of equipment and interpret them to understand how to operate and maintain them properly.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance process, specifically form fill and seal equipment.
- PLC
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Good time management to work at a good pace, executing word orders and demands.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills, in english or spanish.
- Leadership abilities to supervise and coordinate maintenance staff.
