Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and reporting to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform various nursing procedures, such as wound care, venipuncture, and spinal taps
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs in emergency situations
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Provide case management for patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer dialysis treatments for patients with renal failure
- Provide infant care for newborns in a nursery or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)
- Utilize ICD-9 coding to accurately document patient diagnoses and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of [Location]
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as an LVN in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in performing venipuncture and other clinical skills
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
