Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in residents' conditions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and transfer residents using proper techniques and assistive devices
- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for their needs
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to follow medication administration protocols accurately and safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
