We are currently seeking a Full-Time GA Pre-K Assistant Teacher for our Grizzle Rd. location
Applicants must:
Meet the teacher requirements as required by DECAL
- Credential/Certification Requirements Any ONE of the following credentials/degrees listed below will meet the credential requirement for Pre-K assistant teachers:
- Valid Paraprofessional Certificate (issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission)
- Valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (issued by the Council for Professional Recognition)
- TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit) in Early Childhood Education
- TCD (Technical College Diploma) in Early Childhood Education
- AA, AS, AAS, AAT (Associate Degree)
- Montessori Diploma (Montessori courses must be taken from an accredited affiliate of the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education [MACTE])
- BA, BS (Bachelor’s degree)
- Georgia PSC Certified Teacher
- ·MA, MS (Master’s Degree)
- Specialist Degree or PhD
- Prior teaching and/or childcare center experience in Pre-k
- Responsible for assisting in all areas of our state funded Pre-k program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must work well as a team
- Must continue to accumulate required training hours
- Nurturing, warm, friendly, and patient
