Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Full-time (40/hour per week)
Bilingual- Spanish is required

About our Outreach and Enrollment Counselor:
Our OEC's are an integral part of our outreach team. They assist and enroll individuals with various marketplace products. Perform varied children's health insurance enrollment related duties including responding to requests for information; generating interest in enrollment through outreach, application assistance and follow up; documentation of activities; access, utilization, and retention activities; and related tasks.
What we are looking for:
A compassionate patient-focused individual that has a bachelor's degree and the ability to become a Certified Application Counselor (CAC), or already be one.
What you will do:
- Applies health insurance guidelines to determine client eligibility for participation.
- Advises clients on the documentation required to complete applications, and answers questions and issues regarding the enrollment process.
- Provides in-person assistance in determining eligibility for coverage options.
- Facilitating enrollment in affordable health coverage.
- Facilitates outreach and education on program services. Coordinates local insurance awareness campaigns. Some evenings and weekend required.
- Work in conjunction with local organizations that serve uninsured populations.
- Complete all required documentation and reporting.
- Participates in Quality Improvement (QI), Quality Assurance (QA) and Continuous Quality Improvement Activities (CQI) as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
