Summary:
Housekeeper main responsibilities include day to day cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the facility.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping experience preferred.
- Must pass Level II background check AHCA
Responsibilities:
- Keep areas of the facility clean and in good repair. This includes common areas, patient rooms, outdoor spaces, laundry, storage, and cafeteria spaces.
- Clean and prepare all rooms for new patients. Clean and disinfect every room daily and after discharge.
- Complete dirty laundry, complete all washing and folding, and return clean linen to proper storage. Maintain clean and dirty linen separately.
- Collect trash from all trash receptables, clean receptables, and replace garbage bags daily.
- Clean and disinfect utilizing proper techniques and permitted chemicals.
- Responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of all common bathrooms. Replace and/or replenish restroom supplies as needed.
- Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor.
- Dusts and polishes furniture, frames, equipment, and all surfaces as needed.
- Remove dust, spots and smears from windows, ledges, and frames.
- Vacuums all carpeted areas daily. Sweep and mop floors daily.
- Clean and sanitize entry and exit doors daily.
- Monitor supply levels and report purchase needs to supervisor.
- Report any damages or maintenance problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure the inside and outside of all appliances is thoroughly cleaned.
- Ensure washer and dryers are kept clean. Clean dust filter daily.
- Other duties as required to address operational needs.
Shift:
- 8 hour shifts.
- Weekend as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
