Production Planner
Job purpose
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning including material planning, meet customer demands, and optimize manufacturing efficiency. The Production Planner will collaborate with various departments to ensure a well-coordinated production process.
Main accountabilities and tasks
1. Production planning (rough and detailed planning) of defined injection molding machines and automatic assembly orders.
2. Implement sales planning from sales items to production items (semi-finished goods and finished goods).
3. Receiving, scheduling and confirming specific customer orders from internal and external customers.
4. Disposition and retrieval of consumables for production.
5. Generate reports on production performance, key metrics, and any deviations from the production plan, with specific attention to material-related issues.
6. Manage inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock while ensuring sufficient materials available for production.
7. Scheduling orders from sales planning and customer orders into production orders according to entrepreneurial and economic aspects
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
9. Implement best practices for material planning and scheduling.
10. Coordinate with sales and operation teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components needed for production.
11. Planning of short- to medium-term requirements for external services and reservation of the necessary capacities.
12. Ensuring the supply of semi-finished goods to the final assembly
13. Management of third-party service partners (extended workbenches, contract manufacturers).
14. Definition and maintenance of the scheduling parameters required for production control.
15. Deadline tracking of orders and initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations.
16. Control of internal factory transports and warehouse activities.
17. Plan and coordinate introduction of new product lines with Product Design Team and Sales
Desired experience and qualifications
Work experience: 3-5 years production planning experience in manufacturing setting; medical device preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $63,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
