We are excited about our growth and are looking for a dynamic team member to perform PET/CT cardiac imaging at our Humble office location. Responsibilities include: • Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to the PET/CT patients • Explaining the procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort during the procedure. • Operating PET/CT equipment • Processing all cardiac images Candidate must have an associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology. A state license and certification to practice nuclear medicine..

```Duties```
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the operation of imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of the targeted area.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
- Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in performing PET/CT
- Ability to operate imaging equipment and software effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
