A sales representative is responsible for overseeing the sale of products from beginning to end. As an outside sales representative, or sales rep, you will also research sales competition, market changes, and report back to management in an appropriate manner. You will the direct point of contact with our customer and, in charge of ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.

Responsibilities
- Services existing accounts and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing or marketing strategies
- Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
- Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software, and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
- Generate and develop secondary market relationships; through non-direct sales calls to contactors, builders, architects, and other trade professionals.
- Responsible for bi-annual sales review with key customers.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating effectively with each customer unique needs.
- Serve as the middle man or the point person between the company and the customers to give current updates on the condition on market conditions
