Janry Pet Resort is currently seeking to expand its team of dedicated pet enthusiasts. The role of a pet counselor entails ensuring the compassionate and attentive care of animals at all times, maintaining a hygienic environment for animals and visitors, and assisting with various tasks as necessary.
Job Description for Pet Counselor:
- This is a full-time position with shifts spanning 7 am to 7 pm.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures while working efficiently and effectively.
- Daily cleaning of animal suites.
- Provision of food and water for animals, including specialized diets.
- Proper administration of medication as per owners' instructions.
- Vigilant monitoring of animal health, promptly reporting any issues to management.
- Humane treatment of animals with care and compassion.
- Facility maintenance and cleanliness.
- Interaction and exercise with animals individually or in groups.
- Replenishment of supplies as needed.
- Collaborative work with other staff members.
- Participation in cross-functional programs and projects.
- Professional and friendly customer service.
- Janitorial tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and cleaning public areas.
- Ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for animals and visitors.
- Flexibility to cover other areas and tasks when required.
- Compliance with dress code and punctuality.
- Willingness to assist with additional duties assigned by management or peers.
Required Experience, Abilities, and Qualities:
- Previous experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
