The RN Unit Manager plays a crucial role in the skilled nursing facility, contributing to the overall success of the organization by ensuring the delivery of compassionate, competent, and comprehensive nursing care. This position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual who is committed to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice and enhancing the well-being of residents in their care. This leadership position involves overseeing the nursing unit, managing staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Lead and direct nursing staff, ensuring adherence to facility standards.

Evaluate performance, mentor staff, and support professional growth.

Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.

Monitor resident health, initiate interventions, and coordinate ancillary services.

Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and quality assurance activities

Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare providers.

Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning sessions.
Requirements:
- Current & good standing RN License in State of New York

Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable

Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred.

2-3 years nursing experience; leadership preferred.

Clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Knowledge of long-term care regulations and policies.
