Qualifications:
- Current State of Illinois Paraprofessional Certificate or Substitute Teaching Certificate or Professional Educators License registered in Will County/Region 56
- Associates Degree or higher; or 60 hours of college coursework; or ACT Work Keys; or ETC ParaPro Test
OR
- Current State of Illinois Paraprofessional Approval
- High School Diploma

- Ability to communicate comfortably with students, parents/guardians, administrators, and others
- Ability to be flexible and patient
- Ability to follow and enforce rules, policies, and procedures
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Description:
- Assist students across school settings (classroom, lunch, recess, restroom) if necessary
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting
- Monitor student behavior
- Leaves notes for the regular paraprofessional at the end of the teaching day
- Communicate in a friendly and positive manner towards parents, students, and administrators
- Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Ensure the safety of students at all times

- GCN online tutorials
- Online forms via Applitrack
