Logic20/20 is seeking a well-organized, efficient, and enthusiastic General Accountant, with an eye for detail and accuracy, to join our Seattle-based Finance Team. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a positive impact on different areas in the Company and to expand your skillset. The successful candidate will be comfortable in a small, but fast-paced office environment.
The General Accountant reports to the Controller and will be responsible for general accounting duties, accounts payable, business expense reimbursement, monthly close and administrative support, and confirming the accuracy of financial transactions. Your day-to-day tasks will span a wide range of activities.
Job Description
Accounts Payable
-
Prepares and processes payments for vendor invoices and other financial obligations in accordance with internal accounting policies.

Ensures vendors are paid in a timely and accurate manner, confirms contracts accurately reflect terms and conditions agreed, reviews purchase orders, statements, and invoices.

Responds to and resolves any vendor internal and external inquiries. Ensures vendor issues are escalated and resolved promptly and resolves any discrepancies in billings and payments.

Maintains vendor records and reconciles accounts payable ledger.

Processes employee expense reimbursements, manages approval and processes corporate credit card charges and monitors expense policy compliance.
General Accounting

Assists in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and in accordance with GAAP.

Responsible for general ledger balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, journal entries, cost allocations, business expense reimbursements, controls review and process improvement.

Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

Functions in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Performs ad hoc projects/tasks as requested.

Qualifications

Computer Skills: Proficient with software and computer spreadsheets. Competency in MS Office, databases and advanced Excel skills preferable.

Detail Oriented and Organizational Skills: Attention to detail required and the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities with the ability meet deadlines and to respond to change in a productive manner.

Integrity and Data Security: Must always perform in a professional manner and will use appropriately and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Good listening and communication skills.

Ability to work well with others and collaborate with a team.
Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field preferred.

Strong technical GAAP accounting background.

Minimum of 3-4 years of accounting and proven experience (1 year) of accounts payable experience

Working knowledge of Workday or any similar accounting system or ERP.

Experience working at a professional services company is highly desired.
Additional Information
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Wage Range: $32.50-$40.87 per hour
