GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to perform tasks inherent in general responsibilities
- Be the social media liaison with parents, collaborators, school management, volunteers, and visitors to display the program in a positive manner
- Brainstorm marketing initiatives as well as innovative ways for LALC/SGIE to make captivating short-form video content
- Create and run an advertising campaign every month. Through your content, you will help LALC/SGIE achieve its mission of providing informative content in a way that is current and engaging to our community.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 precautions and reporting requirements
- Creation of Posts & Content on all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok).
- Produce and post 4-7 TikToks per week, while also creating 3-4 social media post per week, including at least (1) live video, (2) IG Reels, and (2) engagement post (Pictures/ videos that requires users to comment or share something)
- Collect and analyze all social media data/ insights and engagements, in order to work with the LALC/SGIE team to utilize feedback and data to make strategy and content changes
Personal Qualifications:
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Creative self-starter who can pitch and execute new content ideas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Canva.com (not necessary but is helpful)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Positive attitude, detailed and kid friendly with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Ability to work without supervision and maintain confidentiality
- Understanding of the social media landscape, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and Snapchat
- Ability to commit to the internship for at least 20 hours a week, beginning in October 2023 through end of 2023
Education & Work Experience Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Preferred experience in developing and implementing social media strategies.
- Possess excellent communication, collaboration, social, and management skills.
