General Summary: The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in leading our behavioral health team, providing direct clinical care to patients, and ensuring high-quality care for our patients with mental health needs.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Abide by policies, procedures, and protocols for behavioral health teams, in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care providers and social workers to coordinate comprehensive mental health care plans for patients.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy, as appropriate.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjusting as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and training to behavioral health teams on mental health topics, evidence-based practices, and new developments in psychiatric care.
- Oversee medication management processes, including prescribing, monitoring, and education patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance reviews, and compliance activities to uphold high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
