Youth Care Workers are responsible for the supervision and mentoring of youth, assisting youth in learning and utilizing coping skills, de-escalate behaviors and help youth process emotions and resolve conflict. Youth care workers are required to complete accurate documentation on shift regarding each youth.
The ideal Youth Care Worker handles high stress situations calmly and effectively, has strong conflict resolution skills and good communication skills.
Requirements: 21 years of age, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, able to pass a background study, available for evening shifts (2-10pm).
