Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.

Maintain cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and other business contacts.

Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel & PowerPoint; experience and proficiency with Applied Epic Agency Management System with training available, as required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Critical thinking and good judgment to quickly determine and prioritize key issues.

Track record of working cooperatively and participating as a team member and take responsibility for seeing tasks through to completion.

Ability to respect and treat confidential information of the Agency, its Clients and your Co-Workers in a responsible manner.

Support and assist Account Managers in maintaining customer records by updating our agency management system in addition to other technical duties.

Preparation and maintenance of electronic files in a paperless environment.

Process incoming & outgoing daily correspondence.

Prepare summaries of insurance in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Verify accuracy of policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.

Prepare electronic and hard copy presentation and policy documents, as directed.

Prepare professional correspondence, write clearly, edit work for spelling and grammar, ability to read and interpret written information.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks, as needed.
