Velocity produces “restomod” restorations where vintage vehicles are upgraded with modern parts, drivetrain, and technology making them functionally new while maintaining an original or vintage aesthetic. The company has pioneered a custom classic vehicle renovation via an assembly line process, ensuring a high level of quality control, with a known price, and significantly decreased build time. We have a talented team of 100+ employees and a 135,000 square foot facility in Cantonment, Florida where we are continuing to add additional production lines and new vehicle offerings.

Vice President of Finance
Duties and Responsibilities
- Run payroll reports and check for accuracy of time punches.
- Communicate with department managers to confirm employee hours.
- Run payroll in QuickBooks weekly.
- Ensure that paid time off, holiday, and overtime are paid out correctly.
- Ensure that garnishments are processed and reported in accordance with government regulations.
- Manges employee commission processing and payouts.
- Manages employee bonus processing and payouts.
- Manages employee payroll deductions.
- Manages employee benefit accounting.
- Performs annual payroll and accrual procedures; calculates and records end-of-the-year journal entries and their respective reversal entries to ensure accurate accruals and deferrals for income and expenses at year-end
- Reports employment data for statistical purposes as required; prepares and responds to claims related to unemployment and coordinates with departmental directors regarding termination causes and re-hire data.
- Completes payroll tax reporting to the appropriate agencies.
- Analyze payroll data and produce payroll reports.
- Assists with maintaining departmental worksheets and accounting entries as assigned.
- Maintain a professional appearance and work area.
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous accounting or payroll experience
- Background check required
Physical Demands (to include but not limited to)
- Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc.
- Sit for long periods of time working at a desk, boardroom table, or at a computer.
- Walk long distances across shop floor to communicate and gather information as needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, and place items up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Occasional reaching overhead and below knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting.
