Customer Service Specialist

We provide pest, wildlife, termite, fire ant, and mosquito solutions to families and businesses across Northeast Georgia and South Carolina. POSITION OVERVIEW – As a customer service specialist for American Pest Control, you’ll develop relationships with customers, technicians, and other staff in order to provide the best customer experience possible. In addition to assisting customers through daily phone calls and emails, you will perform administrative duties to assist with routing, billing, and reporting. Your ultimate goal will be to leave every customer with peace of mind.

REQUIREMENTS – The role of Customer Service Specialist is very rewarding and To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
- Experience: At least one year of customer service experience. Route customer service experience is a plus.
- Education and Licensing: High School Diploma, Valid driver’s license.
- Skills: Great phone etiquette, proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Characteristics: A candidate who is detail oriented, self-motivated, enjoys working on a team, and believes in the company’s pillars: honesty, integrity, and community will thrive in this role.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES – As a member of American Pest Control’s customer service specialist team, you’ll work independently and with technicians to schedule and maintain customer accounts. Throughout our journey to provide the best customer experience, you’ll be responsible for:
- Partnering with Universal Service Technicians, Customer Service Specialists, Service Center Managers, and Administrative Staff
- Understanding operations and procedures relevant to your position
- Communicating with customers and technicians effectively
- Scheduling accounts services
- Welcoming new customers and thanking existing customers with handwritten thank you cards
- Familiarizing yourself with geographical service areas for which you will be scheduling
- Processing daily financial transactions

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
