As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Engineer to join our team and help us expand our market presence.
THE ROLE: The Industrial Sales Engineer will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance of their territory by expanding the sales of Quality Product Solutions products and services. In this role, you will also utilize strong technical and product knowledge to help solve customers’ dust collecting needs while helping development of dust collection systems, products, aftermarket sales and services in the markets we serve.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and their applications.
- Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers.
- Collaborate with the company president to develop strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional activities to represent Quality Product Solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial products and air filtration systems, including hazardous location requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
