Alvord, Baker & Associates, LLC is a unique, caring, and innovative psychotherapy practice founded by Drs. Mary Alvord and Patricia Baker in 1983. We specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) as well as other evidence-based treatments. Our practice offers therapy options for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, as well as group opportunities for all ages. Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist to join our team at Alvord, Baker, & Associates. Alvord, Baker, & Associates is a fee-for-service, private practice group dedicated to evidence-based therapy, neuropsychological testing, cutting-edge research, and comprehensive training. Due to high client demand and lengthy testing waitlists in both of our locations (Rockville and Chevy Chase), we're excited to announce an immediate opening for a testing psychologist. Flexible start date.
Position Requirements:
- Maryland licensure required prior to start (internship and accredited program completion mandatory).
- Experience conducting psychoeducational and/or neuropsychological testing with children and adolescents across a diverse range of clinical presentations including ADHD, LDs, and ASD. Experience testing adults preferred but not required.
- Minimum of one testing case per month.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $100,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
