Electronic Tester/Technician
Job Description
Inspect and test power supplies and their sub-systems, using precision measuring instruments (oscilloscope, analog/digital voltmeter/ammeter, multi-meter, hipot, etc.). Ensure the efficient flow of product through the testing process to meet customer ship dates. Eventual training to perform troubleshooting and repair of faulty supplies.
Experience is needed in a variety of areas including:
- Inspecting and performing tests on electrical equipment, evaluating its performance against technical specifications using precision measuring instruments as listed above.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic sub-assemblies.
- Experience in an electronic production environment, successfully organizing product flow to meet customer performance and ship date expectations.
Job Requirements:
To be successful in this position, qualified candidates must:
- Have a Technical degree in electronics or equivalent work experience
- Be able to multi-task, working efficiently with a variety of equipment in a diverse product line
- Be able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Be punctual and maintain regular attendance
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area

- Ability to deal effectively with all levels of personnel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks by urgency
- Very strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
Additional skills that will enhance your potential in this position:
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment, down to the board component level.
- Familiarity with the layout, fabrication and calibration of electronic equipment
- Leadership experience in a production environment
Position hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
