The APRN will be responsible for :

Providing front-line care and coordination for complex, critically ill patients in the MICU, including assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, bedside procedures, and family-centered care.

Collaborating and consulting with acute care providers and interdisciplinary team members on all assigned inpatients during daily rounds. Managing assigned patients throughout the course of the day.

Participating in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.

Facilitating patient/family and multidisciplinary team education.
To qualify, you must have:-
A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU RN experience.

1-2 years of Pediatric acute care NP experience is preferred; new graduate NPs will also be considered.

Certified Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PNP).

Availability to work 40 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts, and a maximum of every third weekend.
