Always maintain professionalism and excellent customer service with patients, caregivers, and other staff regardless of culture or education. Maintain high level attendance pattern to ensure department is accurately covered. Work as a team player and be willing to assist co-workers in other duties within his/her scope, to aid the clinic team in providing good efficient patient care. Maintain open communication with other clinic staff. Exceptional customer service skills, pleasant telephone manner, Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner. Experience in ophthalmology/optometry preferred.
Job Responsibilities :
- Greet Patients
- Checking patients in and out
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Collecting co-pays and balances
- Schedule patient appointments
- Run Insurance eligibility for new patients with EMR system and instructs patients accordingly
- Create and deactivates chart alerts as needed.
- Attend and participate in clinic staff meetings and trainings
- Forward patient’s concern and feedback to appropriate personnel
- Making sure waiting room is presentable
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
