Job Purpose:
Xylem Kendall is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented M&A Specialist. The M&A Specialist will support M&A activity by tracking pipeline activity, support and track internal diligence, integration and onboarding efforts, coordinate onboarding logistics, and support 100-day plan development and execution for each transaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct reports.
Essential Functions:
- Understand the M&A process and track M&A pipeline activity.
- Track and support closing and integration efforts including 100-day plan.
- Develop, coordinate, and manage in-person onboarding logistics for each transaction.
- Support diligence process and initiatives (e.g., track data requests and distribute information to functions, track completion and reporting of functional diligences, coordinate cross-functional and inter-functional pre- and post-closing items.
Competencies:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple in-flight transactions.
- Self- starter with the ability to proactively flag and/or resolve roadblocks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
Work Environment:
Generally, works in an office environment and will visit work sites as needed.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of work time.
Required education and experience:
- College Degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience managing or adhering to tight procedures and processes.
