· Ability to work 50-hour work weeks
· Ability to travel across three (3) sites to various shifts/times

Responsibilities include:
- Plans and manages the organization's general health, safety, and loss control policies and procedures.
- Monitors and evaluates the workplace to ensure compliance with governmental regulatory agencies. Including OSHA
- Designs and directs safety training programs to reduce accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards.
- Develops worker plans and policies for new employee safety orientation, including skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of protective equipment.
- Studies identify, and report causes of past accidents and develop recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrences.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Has full authority for personnel actions.
- Extensive knowledge of department processes.
- Typically requires five years' experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
- Directs, develops, and oversees the organization's general health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures the workplace complies with OSHA and other state, local, or industry-specific regulations and conducts periodic safety audits.
- Provides programs that ensure a safe workplace, including safety orientations, skill training, emergency preparedness, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and protective equipment.
- Develops a systemic process to collect data, analyze the causes of accidents, and generate required reporting.
- Implements initiatives to reduce and prevent accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health hazards.
- Typically reports to top management.
- Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
- Requires 5+ years of managerial experience.
