SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Engineer III.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is looking for a Systems Engineer III for our Hardware Solutions Business Area. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development and integration of various operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
Responsibilities include: Development, drawing reviews, staffing/cost analysis, and scheduling. The senior systems engineer works across multiple vertical domains including RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, IT, Test, and is a primary contact for customer interactions. Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain desired.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
Experience: Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering, with two (2) of the years having full-time experience at the system level in any of the following areas:
- System design parameters

Concepts operation
-
Risk assessment
-
Productivity studies/analyses
-
Performance analyses
-
Test and evaluation
-
Post-delivery support of COE or EW Systems
Three (3) years of full-time professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:
- Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux

Linux System administrator

Hardware and Software configuration management of tracking bug, enhancements, requirements, risks, test results, and tasks
- System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices.
One (1) year of full-time professional experience support of total Life-Cycle system design or equivalent academic background.

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - This positions requires the following physical activities: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and looking at computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
