The Team:
The Marketing team is a centralized, multi-disciplinary group focused on acquiring, retaining, and building a world-class brand that resonates with both event organizers and eventgoers. We are data-driven and biased toward action, and put the customer at the center of everything we do. We are specialists within our individual areas of expertise and work together to connect with and support our customers.
The Role:
As an Editorial Curation Producer, you’ll sit on the Global Content Marketing Team and partner across the Marketing organization to spotlight, editorialize, curate, and promote the latest and most compelling events and organizers in order to drive audience engagement and seasonal demand. You will work to source and curate high-quality events, grouping them into editorial themes. This role is key to our mission of building consumer trust. Reporting to our Senior Content Marketing Manager, this contractor role is remote.
You Will:
- Curate, launch, and regularly update event recommendation guides in key markets for seasonal moments, trending topics, partners/influencers, and newsletters.
- Identify trends (e.g., Beyoncé’s “cowboy core” movement), and how to leverage Eventbrite’s inventory to support these buzzy, cultural moments.
- Partner with Product/Dev teams on AI-assisted event curation.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, SEO, Email, and Design teams to distribute, repackage, and test content, continually innovating and optimizing our approach.
- Partner with Senior Content Marketing Manager on day-to-day content operations and production.
- Edit, write, and curate engaging content across a variety of channels, including product and email.
Skillset:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Advertising or related field
- Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills
- Organized and detail-oriented — you know how to take a plan and make it happen
- A self-starter who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced, ever-evolving work environment
- Passion for lifestyle, events, arts, entertainment, wellness, food and drink, or travel
- Bonus points if you have experience curating events calendars for a brand or editorial publication
The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $25.00-$30.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
