Basic Purpose
The objective is to increase the available time of machines. Conduct preventive maintenance and when necessary perform corrective maintenance ensuring that the work plans established by the department are met. In the event of equipment failure, make the necessary repairs.
Core Responsibilities
- Repairs breakdowns/disturbances of production equipment with mechanic, hydraulic and pneumatic components including the replacement of spare parts
- Verifies the operational capability of production equipment
- Installs and moves machinery and equipment to effect layout changes as required
- Supports the setup and launch of new production equipment and conducts final inspection
- Supports continuous improvement measures
- Keeps production work area neat and clean while performing repairs, preventative maintenance, etc. and clean-up area before leaving when the job is completed
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Leader
- Provides support to all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.
Position Specifications:
- Some technical schooling preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.75 - $34.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
