Assist with the creation and implementation of the JCC Development Plan incorporating strategies on annual appeals, fundraising events, and special events.
- Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, plan and execute the day-to-day operations of the annual giving program to meet revenue goals, with stewardship, cultivation and solicitation touchpoints that include reminders, collateral materials, and draft communications, as well as assisting with briefings and call reports.

Develop special engagement opportunities that move donors to higher levels of annual giving, supporting the growth of a major gifts pipeline.

Cultivate, manage, solicit, steward, and track relationships with donors and prospects assigned to your portfolio.
- Consistently document key conversations and other pertinent donor information in Salesforce, generate donor analysis reports for all lines of annual giving; utilize data and metrics to benchmark efforts, inform strategic and tactical decision-making, identify broad-based solicitation opportunities; and partner with marketing to implement the strategy.

Engage and secure stories/testimonials from donors and members for impact-related communication including website, social media, and direct communications.

Plan, develop, and execute event logistics including relationships with vendors, speakers, guests, volunteers, and sponsors; coordinate event-planning committees.
- Collaborate with JCC Program Directors and staff to develop, expand, and refine case for support, supporting materials, and strategy.
- Generate and provide detailed progress reports to the CDO regularly.

Support the philanthropy team and its goals with a commitment to performing any tasks necessary and is flexible and eager to learn.

Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
-
5+ years demonstrated experience in fundraising.
- Ability to prioritize multi-campaigns and follow through with desired adjustments to strategy.

Proven ability in event planning for a nonprofit.

Proven experience developing and cultivating individual relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with volunteers, donors, and staff.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills with demonstrated success in writing annual fund appeals.
- Proficient computer and software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), including Salesforce.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.

Full-Time employees of the JCC are considered benefits-eligible.
The JCC contributes a portion of medical, dental, and vision plan premiums. The JCC proudly pays for 100% of Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage for benefits eligible employees. We also provide additional voluntary benefit plans.
The JCC has a 401(K) Plan available for elective deferral contributions for employees over 21 years of age with no waiting period. The JCC matches 50% of employee contributions, up to 3%, on a 5-year vesting schedule.
Paid Time Off is a day-one benefit, accrued based on years of service and in compliance with Colorado Health Families & Workplaces Act. First-year, benefits-eligible employees may accrue up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in their first year of service.
