Family Health Care Clinic, Inc. is a non-profit organization that received federal funds to provide primary healthcare services to the community regardless of insurance or income.

This location is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients as they contact the center personally or by telephone, and explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures.
- Receives the patient and direct them to the services needed.
- Determines through conducting a financial screening, the category of payment before provider visit
- Schedule appointments; direct walk-in patients and emergencies as per established policies and procedures
- Answer all incoming calls and route them to the appropriate staff.
- Register all patients per registration protocols and collection all documentation and billing information per billing protocol.
- Ensure proper data collection documentation
- Reviews and verifies patient coverage of insurance or other agencies and computes the charges to be paid by the patient.
- Collects deposits or co-pays/deductibles prior to the patient being seen by the provider per established policies and procedures
- Inform patient of their outstanding balance, collect said balance, and issue cash receipt when monies are collected.
- Balance cash box in accordance with the cash handling policy.
- Deposits collections at the end of the day at specified bank daily
- Work closely with Medical, Dental and/or Nursing staff to assure smooth patient flow and cut down on waiting time
- Distribute Clinic Visit Summary at the end of each visit.
- Call and remind patient of his/her appointment.
- Advocate for patients to support the attainment of optimal, patient-centered outcomes that are defined by a care planning process driven by a compassionate, robust partnership with patients, and the patient’s family.
