NMC is currently recruiting for a RN in Ambulatory Surgery. This position is regular part-time (64 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 0800-1630 or 0900-1730. Call rotation on evenings (5p-7p) and weekends (Sat/Sun).
- JOB SUMMARY
- The RN provides safe nursing care in a timely manner to patients on the assigned unit with a high degree of independence. Performs within the scope of a RN as defined by the Vermont State Board of Nursing, functions regularly as charge nurse.
- PREREQUISITES
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure as a RN in Vermont, BS preferred
- Experience:
- Perioperative and critical care experience preferred. If no prior critical care experience, critical care course to be completed during orientation.
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS and PALS required if trained to phase 1 (PACU). BLS required for all Ambulatory RNs. IV certification required.
