Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and assisting medical professionals in various healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Assist in medical procedures as needed
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required
- Experience in ICU, hospital medicine, long-term care, or home care is advantageous
