**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics and hospitals. **Responsibilities:** - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders - Prescribe and manage medications for psychiatric conditions - Provide therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care - Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options **Requirements:** - Valid Nurse Practitioner license with Psychiatric-Mental Health specialization - Experience working in a hospital or outpatient mental health setting - Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and infection control practices - Ability to assess vital signs and perform medical procedures such as tube feeding, administering injections, catheterization, etc. - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Familiarity with family planning services - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Joining our team offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues.
