ROOM SERVICE is a members only social club & workspace built exclusively for Stylists, Costume Designers, and Personal Shoppers. The Club operates as a third space for our members: a destination to help them in their daily business from project meetings to client fittings to hosting events, our club and services are a dependable resource for them. ROOM SERVICE members range from those just starting their careers to illustrious industry figures who have been running the game for decades.
Working under the Director of Member Experiences, the Room Service Member Host will manage member services for the club from the reception. You will be the first point of contact our members have when entering the premises. It is critical that you develop a welcoming and dependable report between yourself and the members, cultivating an environment where each member feels seen and comfortable in the space. It is important that the candidate possess an interest in fashion as it is the common ground between each of our members and furthermore the ethos of the space. This role works within a small team and will be given autonomy to self-manage. While not immediate components of this role, upon expressed interest, there is room to learn & work on Social Media Content Strategy, Marketing Initiatives & Communication, as well as Event Production.
Key Qualifications
- Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Interest in Fashion, Art, Design, Luxury Retail, Events, and Social Clubs
- Passionate Creative thinker with good organization skills
- Self starter with the ability to proactively anticipate Member needs within the space
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs minimum
- Must be available to work occasional events on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needs of the business dictate
- Must be comfortable multi-tasking

Role Responsibilities
- Report to Director of Member Experiences
- Facilitate check in & check out of Club Members
- Organize and maintain member related documents using online CRM, Google Drive, as well as maintaining security of physical documents
- Manage Club communication: general and membership inquiries, phone, text, email
- Monitor Social Media, keeping up on member social activity.
- Report any inappropriate or exemplary member activity happening on property
- Maintain a positive relationship with all departments; Marketing, Engineering, Management, etc.
- Work with the cleaning and facilities team and to oversee cleanliness and repairs of
- space. This includes daily walks of the space identify cracked walls, scuffed tables, broken fixtures, etc.
- Post-event cleanup and re-organization: cleaning dirty dishes, making sure that all trash has been picked up by cleaning, reorganizing out of place items.
- Handle all onsite responsibilities in the absence of Director of Member Experiences
- Maintain inventory of member snacks, beverages, & operational supplies. Manage replenishment of inventory. Report to Director of Member Experiences with weekly order requests anticipating upcoming events and trends in membership usage of space.
- Proactively conduct membership outreach, facilitate tours and meeting opportunities with prospective members
- Maintain a professional & social relationship with Club Members. Engage in topical conversation relating to cultural events, fashion, lifestyle, entrepreneurship, etc.
