Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities to determine their occupational therapy needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks
- Teach patients new techniques and strategies to maximize their independence
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Experience in case management and patient service
- Familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, critical care units, occupational health clinics, and pediatric facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
