Established California workers compensation defense firm is looking for an associate attorney for our San Francisco office. The successful candidate will possess strong negotiating and litigation skills and ability to work independently. Additional responsibilities include:
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to prioritize
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Keep clients apprised as to case status; updates, etc., in accordance with client protocols and firm guidelines
- Maintains updates and follows up communication via telephone and emails
- Maintain working knowledge of practices and procedures
- Federal and State Labor Standards and Regulations
- Attendance of client functions
- Prospective and current client educational seminars
- Development of positive communication with support staff
- Enter time accurately on a daily basis with appropriate description
- Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned by direct report
- Admitted to California Bar
- Reside in the Northern California area
- Paperless System
Qualified candidates must have experience in a fast paced environment, be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and extraordinary attention to detail. We are looking for a highly motivated team player who has a stable work history. Salary depends on experience: $85,000 - $200,000
